Our initial product which we continue to produce for Moyes Delta Gliders for their top of the range racing glider the 'Litespeed'. These cross bars both hold the hang glider wings open, and take up any negative wing loading allowing a glider to be produced without top rigging.

The cross bars are produced from pre-impregnated carbon fibres, which are hand laid on a steel mandrel, to ensure optimum fibre orientation. Fibre compaction is performed by our purpose built wrapping machine. The wrapped cross bars are cured at 120 degrees Celsius to ensure the finished product has a high Tg. (glass transition temperature).

Once removed from the curing oven the cross bar is pushed off the mandrel and stripped of its wrapping leaving a high gloss finish.
