C-Plates

 We can produce C-Plate (compressed carbon plate) by various methods. The highest quality plate we are able to produce is 

by compressing prepreg carbon fibre at 400Mpa and heat curing at 120 C. This method will produce C-plate with a high fibre/resin ration

and a Tg. of approx 126 C. Plates of this quality can be made up to 1650 x 500 mm.

 Larger, though lower quality C-Plates can be produced using wet laminated and vacuum bagged techiniques.

 We have in the past been called upon to produce tapered plates with through holes. 

This was achieved by accurately water jet cutting of the required holes.
