Jenkins Defence Engineering came to Composite Creations looking to produce cylindrical microwave antenna polarizers for the Australian Navy submarines

There were some problems with previously produced polarizers, which we were able to resolve. This involved a complete change to the construction method and redrafting of the construction plans.

We initially produced a single prototype unit using pre-impregnated fibres and PCB's which was delivered to Jenkins for testing. It passed with honours !

Composite Creations was than contracted to produce a number of these polarizers and train Jenkins Defence staff in correct methods of laminating them to the antenna assembly.

Following the success with the cylindrical polarizers we were again contacted by Jenkins Defence to repair a pair of semi-circular polarizers for an Australian Navy frigate.
