Composite Creations was producing the carbon fibre bodies for the 'Viper' yacht winch handles under contract to Lewmar Marine UK.

The handles are produced as a single piece, using pre-impregnated carbon fibres, in a high pressure thermocouple controlled female mould.

The cured handle is removed from the mould with a high gloss finish and only requires removal of the part line flashing before being sent out to Lewmar for fitting of plastic handles and locking mechanism.

Production has been moved to China for economic reasons.
