Hang Glider Rear Leading Edges 

Carbon fibre rear leading edges were developed for the Moyes 'Litespeed S' glider to reduce the amount of wing inertia. This allowed for a substantial improvement in the handling characteristics of the glider. 

Tubular rear leading edges are produced using the same materials and methods as those used to produce the carbon cross bars. 

We were able to produce a laminate schedule that allowed for an approximately 50% weight saving in the rear leading edges whilst retaining very similar bend characteristics.
