Moyes Delta Gliders have for many years produced gliders with elliptical wing tips. The elliptical shape is formed by a flexible fibreglass extension to the leading edge.

Composite Creations has developed a new wing tip for the Moyes elliptical tipped gliders. This new tip has a high Tg. (thermo-softening temperature) and exceptional laminate properties that ensure that the tip does not get a preset bend during use.

The tips are produce on our wrapping machine using pre-impregnated carbon and s-glass fibres. They are cured at 120 degrees C. ensuring a Tg. of close to 130 degrees.

Recently we have started producing tips of varying flexibility to better suit each standard of glider to which they are fitted
